Vintage "Silver Stone" Series - The 80s Veggie-Slayer NOS Nakiri
"Where we're going, we don't need friction."
The Nakiri is already the undisputed king of the vegetable world, but Japan in the '80s decided it wasn't enough. They looked at a standard blade and said, "Make it look like a stealth bomber and give it the soul of a non-stick skillet." This is a New Old Stock (NOS) Silver Stone Nakiri. It’s flat, it’s square, and it’s coated in a finish so slick that even a damp potato will slide off it like your apprentice avoiding a direct
Classic Nakiri. No tip, all edge. Designed for the "push-cut" that makes a pile of julienned carrots look like a work of art.
The Coating: Authentic Silver Stone tech. It’s a micro-textured, non-stick finish applied to a Japanese stainless steel core. It’s essentially "Teflon for the Tofu-inclined."
The Handle: Contoured matte resin with that signature '80s "Power Red" bolster. It’s built to survive the winter and feels better in the hand than a joystick on a N64.
Vintage NOS Flex: This isn't a "reproduction." It’s a time-traveler. It comes in the original box with Japanese inserts.
